Jianfei Wang makes paintings, drawings, site-based work. His work often explores themes of Individual alienation, and social division, characterized by a delicate balance of abstract and representational elements. His work has been exhibited in such as the CCA Wattis Institute for Contemporary Arts and the Third Space Gallery in San Francisco, the Super Wonder Gallery in Toronto, Park Square in Beijing, among others.
Jianfei Wang was born in Beijing, China. He received his B.F.A.from The Ontario College of Art & Design, and his M.F.A.from California College of the Arts. He lives and works in Toronto, ON, Canada.
